Zn‑Sn alloy sputtering targets are key raw materials for magnetron sputtering coating, widely used in the manufacturing of energy‑saving Low‑E glass and electrochromic smart glass. Our product lineup covers planar sputtering targets and rotary tubular sputtering targets, manufactured by mature casting and cold spray processes. The products feature a purity of no less than 99.5 wt%. Cold spray processed targets will go through subsequent densification treatment to control porosity and help improve coating stability, meeting the requirements of large‑scale continuous production lines.
In professional glass coating technology, Zn‑Sn targets are applied to reactive sputtering to form ZnSnOx dielectric and functional layers. These layers serve to protect the silver functional layer, adjust film refractive index and improve adhesion between the film and glass substrate. The thermal insulation and dimming performance of glass are realized through the coordination of multiple film layers rather than a single Zn‑Sn film.
Consistent purity and density are important for sputtering targets. They help improve film uniformity and reduce the risk of coating defects on finished glass.
